Since purchasing the H70 we have reduced the time taken to crush the cardboard and compact them into 700KG bales, by at least those 2 hours per day, which has now allowed us to place more emphasis on our overall housekeeping within our warehouse and grounds, and apply those resources to tasks such as loading vehicles for delivering product to the end consumer. We have to say that it has been an absolute pleasure dealing with you and your staff, and form the onset when placing the order, communication on the delivery status of the machine, the installation, training and after sales service, nothing has ever been a problem and have to say your service has and is exemplary. Smart Waste have been an excellent waste solutions partner to work with. We have a bar, restaurant and also a brewery. Lack of space is always an issue for us so having a good cardboard compacter has really helped us optimise the space we have in our waste area. As an added benefit, we also save money on pick ups of cardboard and plastic wrap. It’s a very economical solution and the fact that we know the waste is responsibly recycled is great for our sustainability goals.

Machine is installed and working beyond our expectations. In the last month we have only done 2 bails vs our approx 20 with the old (non smart waste) machine. Its been saving us a lot of time as well in loading as the machine is a beast! Super happy with this, Thankyou.

The XP200 has performed exactly as Michael described, we have reduced our waste collection to 6m3 weekly (about a third of previous). I would recommend the XP2000 for compacting suitable waste materials to reduce the weekly collection from a disposal company.

Over time we have changed over all of our pod stand/bags to Smart Waste continuous bags The reasons were: • They worked out cheaper than the Wastetech bags. • They can’t be filled as much as the Wastetech bags which was a safety concern for us as the cleaners had trouble with the bags. • Not having to worry about looking for a bag to replace when full. • They are easy to move around as they are wheels. I would certainly recommend this company as nothing is too much trouble.

Just extending our positive feedback on the V5 cardboard bailer. Since we started using this, the outcome has been fantastic. The bailer is very user friendly and easy to train staff to use.. The trolley that comes with the bailer to easily carry the large cardboard bales is an amazing little piece of equipment. We are very happy with the quality, durability and efficiency of the V5. Also just adding on, the continuous bin bags has made a drastic improvement in our inside waste management. No more dragging all 8 bins out, hosing them all down and dragging them all back inside at the end of the day. We aren’t bringing bins through the kitchen during service to be emptied. To be able to simply chop off at the bottom, retie the bag and carry out to the bin area has been great and much more sanitary. Thankyou again for your excellent services.

It’s not often that I have the opportunity to provide genuine feedback about contractors staff, however in this case I believe this is warranted. We experienced a breakdown with our baler at 4pm on Friday afternoon, and after calling your office we had your technician onsite within the hour. He continued preserving for a number of hours (late on a Friday afternoon) to get our machine operational again before the busy weekend and followed up with a phone call to myself this morning to ensure all was working ok. His efforts were greatly appreciated and I am thankful. Keep up the good work.
